EPA Grade 3 Coaching Course
- An application form for candidates to complete before the course takes place. This can then be used to help tutors understand what level the course needs to be pitched at.
- All course and examination fees should be sent to the National Coach in advance of a course taking place.
- All candidates will receive a handout to assist with revision for the examination.
- A presentation slide pack has been produced for tutors to use when running the course.
- Courses and Examinations can be run by any Grade 2 Coach providing this has been logged with the National Coach and all completed examinations are sent to the National Coach for Marking.
- Exam results will be known within 4 weeks of the National Coach receiving exam papers for marking.
- Feedback questionnaire for candidates to complete and return to the National Coach for review with the Coaching Commission.
- To pass the grade 3 all candidates must score an overall mark of at least 80% with a minimum of 75% on both the written and practical paper. A minimum of 4mark must also be scored on each element of the practical exam.
- Grade 3 Fees will be increased and split as follows:
- Grade 3 Course Fee of £15
- Written Examination Fee of £2
- Practical Examination Fee of £5.
- Other costs for running the Grade 3 also need to be met by the Region or Candidates.
- All candidates will receive feedback on areas the areas they failed on.
- 2 Central Examination Retake days will also be set up for each season. Details of these will be released shortly.
