The English Pétanque Association is the National Governing Body for the sport of pétanque in England.  We are officially recognised by Sport England, the International governing body, the Fédération Internationale de Pétanque et Jeu Provençal and the European governing body, the Confédération Européenne de Pétanque, we are also members of the Sport + Recreation Alliance.

The EPA’s structure of 15 regions means there will be a club near you (see the Regions , Club Database or contact one of the Officers for more information).

Pétanque, sometimes called boules is a sport that is enjoyed by all the family, it can be played for fun in the garden or more seriously up to European and World Championship levels.  Our members will be happy to welcome you to their club and help you get started.
